I love this place. I came all the way from Colorado to enjoy their famous roasting duck. It was nicely prepared, juicy, and crispy. I was blown away! You roll it up with pickled veggies and a flat Asian tortilla. It was divine. Their razor clams, mussels, raw oysters on a half shell was delicious. A must-try place in Houston!
Flavors are intense and authentic and oh so yummy! The restaurant is currently running $11.95 lunch specials- we got the crab and pork noodles, grilled pork with broken rice and the Bahn mi platter! Everything was excellent!!! Definitely would come again! 10/10!
It was our first time here, and we came at the invitation of our friend John, who was playing with his band. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout. Highly recommend trying the green beans—they were especially tasty! We’ll definitely be coming back.
I have the Drunken Lobster, taste awesome. Highly recommended, steak and shrimp is also awesome . The grill pork is well season, godly fry rice is good as well. Was well please with every options we chose. Bun Rieu was fair, will need to reseason to your liking.
Summary: An amazing dining experience highlighting Vietnamese cuisine. We were immediately greeted and seated as soon as we entered Drunken Lobster. Our server was friendly and courteous, and asked if we had any questions about the menu. The highlighted some specials and took our orders. For us, the food was hot, and seasoned well. We had broken rice with grilled pork, as well as shaken beef with and order of scallops and oysters. The food was delicious, well plated, and served in a timely manner. It's definitely a place we will be coming back to, just to try the other varieties of dishes. We would recommend this for anyone looking for Vietnamese cuisine. Best wishes!
We came last minute at 9:40 to hopefully get some crawfish, and it did not disappoint. The seasonings for the crawfish were chief kisses, so much so that we ordered 10 pieces of potatoes just to dip it in the sauce. Along with the 5lb of crawfish, we order the fried rice and clams with lemongrass, and both dishes were amazing. Fried rice with the sauce was . The clam were juicy, plump, and refreshing. They definitely know how to clean these clam because not one did I feel sand or grit from it. I have tried clams from other restaurants, but never as cleaned as this place. Service here was exceptional, I did not feel rush. They made sure we had everything we needed. They gave us extra sauce so that we can get the perfect experience when eating. They were very attentive to our needs. 10/ 10 would come back here again.
Didn't have time to dine-in so I ordered take out. When I got there a few minutes late the food was already ready for me to pick up. Everything was very pleasant. 1st off the lobster roll is delicious. It's one of the best I've eaten & very meaty. I also tried the godly fried rice because it was highly recommended & yeah it's very good especially with the egg on top. I understand why it was recommended. The soft shell crabs were very good too with the sauce it came with. Also the sea snails were good too and also very flavorful. Overall it was a very good experience. I will have to dine-in next time & explore other items on the menu.
